Do you like art? If so, what kind of art? If we think about it, we all like art in some shape or form. For some, art is a beautiful oil painting on canvas. To another, art is expressed through dance, while to another, it is expressed through one's fingers as one molds and shapes new objects made with clay. Did you know that written text can also be art? I would like all of you to be artists with the freedom to express yourselves in any way that you would like.
Every Monday morning, I will post a topic on my blog, which you are reading these instructions from. Once you have read my topic, you will need to leave a comment on my page. However, this "comment" should be more than one sentence. It should be your response to the question I am posting on my blog. I would really like to encourage you all to try to write as much as you can. Although I would like for you to write as much as you can, please do not spend more than 30 minutes writing them. Topic 5: Going Back
If you could change one moment in your past, what would change? Why? How would you change this moment?
Actually, I would change the moment that when my uncles died. I want to change it because it is really bad moment, and I would change this moment by don't let them travel by car and ask them to travel by airplane. However, I believe every things happened by my god are good for me.
I am very sorry to hear that, it must be a tragic event, and you must miss them a lot. The best thing to do is as Omran says, to pray for them. Hope to see them again in Heaven.
As many have already written, it is difficult to lose a loved one. I am sorry to read that your uncle had passed away. I hope you have beautiful memories with him to hold on to.
Sorry to hear that. Life is unpredictable. If something will happen, it will happen not now or later anyway. Hope that you will feel better and get over your sorrow soon.
I have no other regret for my past but only the once following. If i could change one moment in my past, i would change the Seminar on The World Today class into another class. I tried to study in this class to know more about news, I have known a lot of news from studied this class but I really hate news and I couldn't take it anymore. I would love to change into English Through Sport class if I could.
Hi Nancey.. I think you can change it before section B start, but I am not sure. You just have to go to your adviser, and ask her to change this class.
All you have to do is keep doing it until you finish this course, you can take your time to talk with counselor to change your perspective in studying the course you really dislike it.
I think this class is helpful for you to know a lot of news, maybe you should keep this class up, and you will have more fun. You also can share some interesting news to us.
I have the same class and i think that class is not easy. I also have the same hope to change this class. I wish you can change it in the next section.

i have one regret and it is that I didn't get good marks in high school. I want to change it because if I got good marks in high school I can go on my own major without letting other people choose it for me. I would change it be studying hard and not having fun all the time and studying all the time and working hard. If I have done these things I will get good grades and I can choose my own major that I am good at
I think time isn't over yet you are still in control. you haven't chosen the major yet. I believe you can still choose to study what ever you like. It is just a matter of understanding yourself and knowing what major you would like.
Sad to hear that. While I was in secondary school, I also had the same problem as you had. I was not tolerant, and I used to do other activities at school more than pay attention to study. It gave me the big drawback when I graduated which I had low grades.
If I could change one moment in my past, I would change my high school life. Because if I studied hard when I was in high school, I could get more opportunity now. So, if I go back to past, I will study hard for my future. Actually, I have a few friends who regret not studying when they were in high school like me. When we talk about our future, always our dream was limited by our indolence. Studying and trying to get some goal is hard. But anyone will never regret it even though it was hard time. After I realized this, I always endeavor to do my duty. Because I don't want to regret that I didn't my duty anymore, I will be industrious.
Hi Heyonguk. As I said to Omran, there is no specific age to study which mean you can still study and get what you want in this life. Maybe you will face a difficulties because when the person become older he or she will have hard time to focus in school or get information from any subject.
Actually, I did the same thing like you, and I feel so sorry about that. Like you said, if we can work hard for the future, we can get more opportunity which we want to get.
Hi, I think you still have time to choose your field of study what's gone is gone and you must look at the future. you are young and can still choose your degree in college and get good grades.
If I were to go back in time to change decision I made, I want to choice not taking Clinical Nutrition Diploma. The diploma was not beneficial like I thought it would be. We had many troubles with the diploma, we did not have professional and great professors. They did not have a regular schedule like any university; for example, we took seven months break between two semesters. We did not have regular classroom. Also, in the Nutritional field we have to go to hospital for practice our knowledge; however, they did not take us to practice in hospital. In short, this diploma was horrible.
Hi Haifa. I believe this problem happens for many college schools in Saudi Arabia. Honestly, this one of the reasons which made me to deiced to study in the U.S.
Of course, nowadays, the market labor needs a higher agree, and we cannot know what we decided to study would be like we expected. Keep calm and try to enroll other major if you have an opportunity.

It's not that there is anything wrong in marketing, but it would be better to have a degree that is mostly wanted and a good pay. I would have probably changed to a bachelors in civil, mechanical, or chemical engineer. These degrees offer their holders a better opportunity in getting a very good job, also the payroll is very high and there are not many people who have these degrees. In my country there is a great opportunity for engineers because the major economical resource is oil. That means that means the country needs engineers to find the oil, dig for it, and extract the many different chemicals that are produced from it. There are many oil companies and very few engineers. Most people finishing high school tend to pursue a degree in business. If I had the chance to change the moment for choosing my degree, I would have changed it to engineering.
yeah, me too. I was not studied so hard during high school, so I was have just one option in collage which is Nutrition and food science. However, I want to Clinic Nurtition.
I have many friends who changed their major from an engineering to business, and I told them what you just wrote " you won't get a good pay by this major in Saudi Arabia and Kuwaiti.
That is good to have bachelor degree's in marketing. You can apply a job at the oil company and work with them for a while. After that you can ask them to change your position to your interest field. You are able to continue your master's degree in Civil Engineer and back to work with them.

In my life, I do not think I have a lot of pities. I think until now, my life is very wonderful and interesting. If I have a chance to change one moment in my past, I may choose that moment which is in my primary school. At that time, I was interested in music and I wanted to learn to play piano. However, my father did not agree with me and he asked me to choose another instrument. At that moment, I felt very angry and latterly I did not choose any one. Until now, I feel a little pity for that because when I live in the USA, I feel very boring and I have nothing to do sometime. I think if I can play an instrument, I will have some interesting things to do. So if I have a chance, I will change to decide to learn to play an instrument. I also think that is a useful ability for a person. I hope it can be true.

Hi Xi, I think you can maybe try to take it as a hobby over here, while your in college and maybe you can learn to play music. Who knows maybe when you get your bachelors degree you will also be a good musical player in the piano. Don't lose faith.

In my life, I do not have a lot of moments which I want to change, but there is one moment which I really want to change. That moment is in my high school. Reading a novel everyday was my favorite thing, and there was no homework for me. If my parents blamed me, I was always angry with them, and I did not talk to them anymore. From now on, do not do anything which can make you feel repentant.

My maternal grandmother passed away, and she most loved me among her grandchildren. She helped my mother to raise my siblings, and she always bought the best things and cooked for me. However, I wreaked my anger on my innocent grandmother whenever I got angry and a scolding from my parents, and I didn't know that was wrong then. She just understood my mind and cheered me up, and I treated with careless indifference. After my grandmother passed away, I regretted those things. If my grandmother kept alive, I would say sorry and be kind to my grandmother. Anyway, I miss her so much.
Don't be so sad cause sometime is hard to control ourselves when we get angry. i am sure that your grandmother in haven will forgive you and want you to be happy.
In the life, I think everything must be its own place;However, If I could change one moment in my past, I would change my major. Now I like my major, but I really like arts. I really like music and music engineering. I can change my major, but I like to study it many years ago. I play violin and sometimes I compose a beat or a song, but now I don’t have enough time to spend on it. Maybe going to the past is best way for me because I don't want to study in bachelor again.

When I was mechanical engineering student, I wanted to change my major. Because I am interested in marketing and management. So I changed my major from mechanical engineering to business. If you really want to change your major, there are many way to change your major.
If I could change one moment in my past, I would changed not to buy a new car while I was in college. Because after I bought a new car, I had so many problems to solve and resolve. Comparing to my old car, it had never had any problems even though it was a used car. My old car has low gas millage; therefore, I decided to trade in and bought a new car. After that six months, many problems appear such as coolant leak, headlight doe not work and other minor problems. In addition, the repairing and maintaining cost are expensive. I wanted to change my car, but my parents were not allow me to do that. I have used this car since then.
I would like to change that time when my father spoke to me about my future. I was 15 years. He asked me to come to his office to talk about my future. He explained to that education is the key to success in life, but I didn’t listen to him. Additionally, he told me that I have to study English before I go to USA, but I didn’t talk the words he said seriously. Finally, I hope I can change this moment.
Sometime I think I want to change some things in my life to be better, and sometime it be preferable than what I thought. One of the things I hope to I can changed is to get a job before I start study master. I write that because I had chance to be instructor in my country, but I prefer to have mission than get that job. I want to change that because I do not know in that time if I was instructor; I will go to continue my master. After that I am thinking a lot before I decided because I do not want to feel guilty, however i register this year to be instructor ,and they accept me because I will study master in one of the biggest university in united states. When I get this job, I am very happy, but not like if I get the first one. That because I will stay far away from my family. Last thing I want to tell you do not lost any chance come to you even do not feel remorse. Finally, I thank god to give me another chance in my life.

After that I am thinking a lot before I decided because I do not want to feel guilty, however i register this year to be instructor ,and they accept me because I will study master in one of the biggest university in united states. When I get this job, I am very happy, but not like if I get the first one. That because I will stay far away from my family. Last thing I want to tell you do not lost any chance come to you even do not feel remorse. Finally, I thank god to give me another chance in my life.
