Instructions

Do you like art? If so, what kind of art? If we think about it, we all like art in some shape or form. For some, art is a beautiful oil painting on canvas. To another, art is expressed through dance, while to another, it is expressed through one's fingers as one molds and shapes new objects made with clay. Did you know that written text can also be art? I would like all of you to be artists with the freedom to express yourselves in any way that you would like.

Every Monday morning, I will post a topic on my blog, which you are reading these instructions from. Once you have read my topic, you will need to leave a comment on my page. However, this "comment" should be more than one sentence. It should be your response to the question I am posting on my blog. I would really like to encourage you all to try to write as much as you can. Although I would like for you to write as much as you can, please do not spend more than 30 minutes writing them. If you read a comment from your classmates that you find to be interesting, feel free to comment to them as well! Lets try to make this as interactive via the Internet as possible. Your responses and comments will need to be completed by 8:00 p.m. every Friday. There will be no exception! Therefore, plan on completing this assignment before the Friday deadline in order to ensure that you receive full credit, which will be 10 points for each week.

On a final note, these blogs are intended to be fun and to allow you to further practice writing in English in a variety of avenues. Be adventurous and express yourselves! Although I am primarily looking a lot at the content, I will also be looking upon your grammar as well. Aim for grammatical accuracy. Nonetheless, have fun, and do not forget, all of you are artists!!

    1. Hello. My name is Anousith Phanthoulay. I'm from Vientiane capital, Laos. Actually, I like playing golf very much. I started playing golf since 2001. After moving to live in the state, I stop playing it. Recently, I go to the gym instead of playing golf. Moreover, I have gone snow boarding at Mountain High and I want to try to go skiing again. The reason I come to the US is to continue my master's degree in Business especially, concentrate in marketing and data management. I hope to enter to Mihaylo College of Business and Economic at California State University of Fullerton. I feel that studying for an MBA at Mihaylo will be a good opportunities for myself to develop a more solid business core in the future.

  15. Hello, my name is Yu Lu, and my nick name is Chloe. I come from Nanjing, which is a beautiful city in China. I have a lot of hobbies. In my spare time, I like traveling, listening music, doing some exercises, and watching movies. Besides that, I really want to make friends with different kinds of people. Playing with my friends can make me feel happy and relax. After my graduation, I have already worked for 2 years in China, but I found that I still need much more professional knowledge of business because it is useful for me to get a better job. American has the best business program, and there are more options. Enrich my experience is also my purpose. After studying in American, I found the education in American is different from China, which is easier to get a high score in the university. The education of American focus on the interaction between teachers and students, and teachers encourage students to make a brainstorm and discuss more. I really like group discussion because it not only can increase my impression of knowledge, but also can let me make a lot of new friends.
